“We also will be having a reunion of those that have worked at the fire department throughout the 75 years,” said David Donofrio of the Prairie Township Firefighter’s Association. “This includes volunteer firefighters, dispatches, first responders and township officials.”

The association recently released a commemorative coin celebrating the anniversary of the fire department. The coins cost $10 and can be purchased via the firefighter’s association or at the fish fry.

According to the projections in the forecast, the district’s revenue will be $265.6 million in 2022, $275.8 million in 2023, $279.5 million in 2024, $282 million in 2025 and $286.8 million in 2026.

In light of the news that the district’s revenue is projected to be eclipsed by its expenditures soon, board member David Donofrio asked whether that meant the district will be looking to place a levy on the ballot in the future.

Victory Fund

 

Washington, DC – Today LGBTQ Victory Fund, the only national organisation dedicated to electing LGBTQ leaders to public office, endorsed 15 LGBTQ candidates for 2021 races. Among the endorsees is David Donofrio.

“After the 5K, the festival will be kicked off at 10 a.m.,” said David Donofrio, member of the board of directors for the Prairie Harvest Festival. “This is the first year we are having this event and the inspiration came from the bicentennial the township is celebrating this year. This is our last real opportunity to celebrate this significant event.”
